If you like your breakfast to involve the words fresh and baked, Rise Bakery is Greenville’s perfect breakfast destination. While they don’t have a ton of seating, its a great spot to grab a quick casual bite.
They offer loads of pastries and some hot breakfast sandwiches like their egg and cheese on a delicious country loaf.
Rise also serves drip and espresso coffee drinks made with Bridge and Tunnel coffee beans.
Sunflower

Neighborhood bakery, breakfast and sandwich spot
Sunflower specializes in making breakfast sandwiches on their freshly baked bread. They also make great lunch sandwiches (like their Italian!), but we’ll focus on breakfast for now.
We love their sausage, egg and cheddar with caramelized onions and special sauce. It’s so over the top in the best way possible. If you’re not in the mood for a sandwich try their grits or breakfast potatoes bowl with your choice of toppings.
They also have baked goods you won’t want to miss– you have to try their cinnamon rolls!

Their baked goods pair perfectly with a cup of Methodical Coffee next door. Seriously, some of the best coffee in Greenville!
Make sure to check their hours before they go — Bake Room is only open Thursday through Sunday.

Tandem also brews excellent coffee using Counter Culture coffee beans.

Maverick Biscuit’s meals are unique and creative with toppings like short ribs, crab cakes and Nashville hot chicken.
They also have some sweet breakfast options biscuit cinnamon roll, biscuit donut holes and French toast.
HenDough

Located in the Gather GVL Food Hall on Augusta Street, Hendough is a great spot for a late breakfast.
They offer window service with outdoor seating at the all-outdoor food hall.
Try their delicious fresh fried chicken on a biscuit or one of their other biscuits. Be sure to add on one of their donuts — you won’t be disappointed.
Hendough opens at 10am so its not the spot for early birds. Check to make sure they are open before you go, but luckily they serve breakfast items all day.

You’ll find Biscuit Head in the South Ridge apartment building. Retail parking is available on the first floor of the parking garage right behind the restaurant.
